1. Introduction

Welcome to the ICA International Half-Marathon – Colombo 2026. By registering for this event, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.

2. Registration
  • Accurate Information: All participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Participants must be at least 18 years old for the Half-Marathon (21.1KM) and 10KM Challengers Run.
    • Participants must be at least 12 years old for the 5KM Family Run.
    • Participants aged 6 years and above are eligible for the 2KM Fun Run.
    • Participants under 12 years are encouraged to participate under parental or guardian supervision.
    • All participants must be in good health and physically fit to take part in their selected race category.
3. Race Rules
  • Compliance: Participants must agree to abide by all the race rules and instructions from event officials.
  • Unsportsman-like Conduct: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for unsportsman-like conduct or violation of race rules.
  • Designated Route: Participants are responsible for their own safety and must follow the designated route.
4. Event Conditions
  • Weather Policy: The event will take place rain or shine. However, the organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event in case of force majeure.
  • Safety: Participants must take responsibility for their own safety during the event. This includes being aware of and prepared for the conditions of the race route.
5. Liability
  • Waiver: All participants must sign a waiver releasing the organizers from liability for any injuries or damages incurred during the event.
6. Fees and Refunds
  • Non-refundable Fees: All registration fees for the ICA International Marathon are non-refundable.
  • Force Majeure: In case of event cancellation due to force majeure, the registration fee will be refunded after deducting the banking charges.
  • No Show Policy: No refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows made by participants.
  • Switching or exchanging BIB numbers between participants is strictly prohibited.
7. Amendments
  • Changes to Terms: The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes via the email provided during registration.

The primary objective of ICA Sri Lanka is to bring together marathon enthusiasts from across the world to Colombo to run for a cause – that will support lives. We wish to create a global platform whereby individuals come together for the first time and foster a spirit of unity and camaraderie.

The ICA International Half-Marathon is more than just a race; it’s an event that promotes health, unity, community support, and sustainable tourism. Starting and finishing at Galle Face Green, the marathon route showcases the scenic beauty of Colombo, including Marine Drive and Galle Road.
